Accommodation does not include tea/coffee making facilities; it is possible to bring a travel kettle.
Reception for the course will be in the entrance foyer of the Agnes Blackadder building.
The course begins with dinner at 6.00pm on Friday evening. Please aim to arrive between 5.00 and 6.00pm. to allow time to settle into your room. Please ask for assistance to carry bags from your car if required.
As well as your recorders, please bring a pencil, a rubber and don’t forget a MUSIC STAND! You may want to bring other instruments in the hope of creating a mixed group on the Saturday afternoon session, a time when you can choose to play in a pre-formed group or introduce yourself to new friends – there will always be a warm welcome for you. Of course, you may prefer some time off and a visit to St. Andrews is always a treat.
There is always time for socialising in the evenings and it is a wonderful opportunity to meet new people or to catch up with old friends. Please feel free to bring any refreshments you may wish.
It may be possible to arrange a private lesson with a tutor of your choice at a cost of £35 for 30 minutes. This is a private arrangement between you and the tutor and is on a first come first served basis. Please contact the tutor direct (sforrester321@btinternet.com ; Lrahope@btinternet.com ; Ed Friday – recorder_1@hotmail.com)
